Loved By All

We are blessed to have so much family in our lives.  William is definitely loved by all.  More than plane tickets and time, it takes a whole lotta love to have so much family come all the way from Georgia to Colorado to meet our newest addition.  Having so many loved ones here after his birth was such a blessing to us both.  It really made the time feel like even more of a big celebration, and everyone got to have a hand in figuring out this little guy, learning his needs, and coming up with all sorts of fun nicknames and pet names for him.  It also gave this mama some much needed rest, as there was never an undersupply of hands waiting to hold the sugar lump! (that became my pet name for him :))

My mama was here April 28 - May 12, and Paul joined her from May 7-12.  My dad and Mary Alice were able to come May 5-7.  The Hillises and William's Great Grandma, VV, came May 17-21.  It was such a special time.  William... you are quite loved!

Family outing with Mom and Paul at the Drive Inn... a really cool outdoor eating spot behind our house.  A corn dog, french fries, and a watermelon slushie was just was this breastfeeding mama ordered!

This was my primary view for his first three weeks of life.  Milk drunk face!

After a couple of days, we noticed he had a dimple on the same cheek as his mama!  I fell in love all over again.

Good times with family

Aunt Becky loved making faces with her new nephew, and he made quite a few stink-eye faces back!
